Morningside village has grown from around 50 houses a decade ago to over 300 houses now, and it is still growing. Yet despite this rapid population expansion there has been no corresponding investment in community and commercial facilities. Working with a private landowner and Nick Wright Planning, we developed this proposal to create those facilities in a new community and civic heart in a central location within the village. We have investigated the viability of the proposed development carefully, and prepared a package which is financially viable as well as providing community benefits.
The project has received outline planning approval from North Lanarkshire Council.
